RSTuner is an easy-to-use RENAULT tuning and diagnostic solution developed by Fastchip, consisting of a software and hardware component, geared towards RS series engines and end-users.
RSTuner is an easy to use software application, developed by Fastchip for use in conjuction with its VCI hardware, specifically designed for diagnosing and recalibrating Renault RS series engines.
RSTuner enables enthusiastic RS owners to reprogram their ECU with one of the calibration files from our database, stock or modified, and then log diagnostic data directly from the ECU through the diagnostic port. Optionally a custom tailored engine calibration can be made to meet different engine setups and/or fuel quality. All the user has to do is, to provide the RSTuner generated data loggings and performance analysis. Reprogramming the ECU can be done as many times as required on the same vehicle at no extra cost.

Updating engine calibration AKA 'chip tuning'
Reprogram your car as often as you wish. Included with every RSTuner Kit purchase is a map for your car. We will either email the map, or it can be downloaded from our ever growing database.

Numerical display of available engine parameters*
Monitor all available sensors and other ECU specific data on-the-fly. RSTuner reads and reports the same data the ECU uses for running the engine. Fast and accurate without the need for external sensors and wiring. All data can be viewed in real-time , with min/max tresholds and update indication, or exported to log file (csv format supported) for in-depth evaluation of engine performance at a later time.
Graphical display of available engine parameters*
Monitor up to 16 engine parameters simultaneously in the Live Data Graph with auto-scaling and min/max tresholds.. RSTuner reads and reports the same data the ECU uses for running the engine. Fast and accurate without the need for external sensors and wiring.
Data can be viewed in real-time or exported to log file (csv format supported) for in-depth evaluation of engine performance at a later time. Saved log files can even be played back in real-time - as if you were driving the car at that moment.
ECU Network Scan
Perform a full network scan to get an overview of all ECUs present in your car (more than you might think). The overview shows details such as make and type, software versions and number of diagnostic trouble codes and allows you to interact with the ECU if support is enabled.
Performance Analyzer
Measure your car's performance with the built-in performance test. Results can be saved and compared later by loading two logs into the same graph to show for example, before and after results or your car versus a friend's.
Data logging, reviewing and saving
All available sensors and other ECU specific engine parameters can be saved for in-depth evaluation of engine performance at a later time. Our Live Data logs use standard csv format so you can import them into other programs.. Saved log files can even be played back in real-time in the Live Data Graph - as if you were driving the car at that moment.
Fault code reading and erasing
Prevent expensive trips to the dealership by reading & clearing clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) yourself. In addition to standard DTC, RSTuner also supports Renault specific DFxxx codes so that self-repair becomes a lot easier.
Actuator testing
Test engine actuators for proper functionality, like electronic throttle flap, fuel pump and more.

For the video enthousiast RSTuner provides a few options to integrate data logging made with RSTuner into your videos.
Graphical Overlay
RSTuner provides image sequence export complete with chroma key of your data logs so you can overlay any Live Data or Vehicle Dynamics Graph onto your video.
RSubtitles
A simpler way to integrate data from your logs into your videos is with our subtitle export. Select your parameter(s) and RSTuner will export an .srt file with your data!
